Monitoring of the implementation of the “Project for Improvement of Water Resources Management in South Karakalpakstan”

Within the framework of the “South Karakalpakstan Water Resources Management Improvement Project”, a number of canals are under reconstruction and restructuring. A group of specialists from Nazar Business and Technology LLC visited the project area and, according to the terms of reference, carried out monitoring and evaluation of the project in 3 districts (Ellikkala, Tortkol and Beruniy).
During the study, experts of Beruniy, Tortkul and Ellikkala District Irrigation Departments, Pakhtaara-Nayman Irrigation System Department and Beruniy Pumping Stations Department in the project area discussed the impact of the project. Water management organizations expressed positive opinions about the work carried out within the framework of the project. Also, specialists of “Nazar Business and Technology” LLC got acquainted with the processes of installing the modern SCADA system, which is newly installed on the canals.
