NBT, in collaboration with Tetratech, conducted a series of field visits as part of the project “Program for Reducing Methane Emissions in the Energy, Waste, and Agribusiness Sectors in Uzbekistan,” funded by the EBRD and the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The project route included the following regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan: Tashkent city, Tashkent, Jizzakh, Samarkand, and Kashkadarya regions. Our team visited and conducted measurements of methane emissions at gas compressor stations, city landfills, solid waste landfills, and treatment facilities.
