NBT Group, together with representatives from the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, as well as all relevant stakeholders, held public hearings on the implementation of Uzbekistan’s first pilot innovative “AGRI-PV” system.

This system is a unique solution that combines agricultural crop cultivation with the use of solar energy. The project is being implemented on a one-hectare site for the Scientific Research Institute of Vegetable crops, Melons and Potatoes under the Ministry of Agriculture.

During the public hearings, the project received positive feedback and support from all participants. Attendees were provided with detailed information about the project and its potential environmental and social benefits. Particular attention was given to issues of sustainable land use, efficient water resource management, and climate change.
