The NBT team took part in a seminar conducted by the ADB regarding the requirements of environmental policy principles and safety measures in ADB operations and familiarized with the bank’s environmental policy requirements and social standards.
During the training, the lecturers explained the principles of the bank’s policy, demonstrated educational presentations on environmental and social measures, and provided and discussed visual examples from ongoing investment projects, including discussions on environmental regulations and rules, and information on environmental violations by contractors. The environmental policy, principles of Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), conservation of biodiversity, occupational health and safety, and physical resources and culture were discussed.
